The Hollister CeraPlus® skin barrier ring (manufacturer reference 8805) is a flat, ceramide-infused hydrocolloid ring designed to be placed around the base of the stoma, beneath the skin barrier or pouching system, to help protect the skin's natural moisture barrier and reduce the risk of leakage. It features CeraPlus® technology (Remois® technology, licensed from Alcare Co., Ltd.), the same ceramide-enriched formulation used in New Image® CeraPlus® barriers. The standard size has a 48mm (2") outer diameter, an 18mm (3/4") inner diameter, and a 4.5mm thickness. Sold in a box of 10.
