Indications for Use
This Adapt® Flextend barrier ring is intended for ostomates looking to improve the seal of their system by filling in skin irregularities around the stoma, such as creases, scars, or slight depressions. It can be applied directly to the skin before fitting the skin barrier, or behind the barrier's flange. Thanks to its malleable texture, it can also be shaped to create slight convexity when needed. Its standard 4.5mm thickness offers a more substantial fill than the thin (Slim) versions in the same range.
